Steps to Create an Academic Plan

  1. Choose the major(s) you would like to pursue.
  2. Click on one of the academic plan templates above, select "File," and then "Make a copy" to create your own draft.
  3. Determine your catalog year and access Lehigh's Catalog for that year.
    1. Your catalog year of requirements is the year you matriculated at Lehigh (e.g., if you started in Fall 2023, you would follow the 2023-2024 catalog requirements).
    2. Choose the "Previous Editions" link in the bottom left corner of the Catalog for earlier catalog editions.
    3. If the major you would like to pursue has had a change in requirements since you started at Lehigh, you may choose to opt into the new catalog requirements by contacting the department of your desired major.
  4. Run a "What If" Degree Audit for your intended major to review how the courses you have already completed fit into the requirements.
  5. Map out the sequence in which you plan to complete requirements on your academic plan by using the class search tool to determine when courses have been offered historically.
